Outdoor Camp for Ages 5–15
YMCA Camp Red Feather, located on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan University came to be through a partnership between the YMCA of South Hampton Roads and Virginia Wesleyan University. Since opening, we've been serving hundreds of children each year through outdoor camp activities that include archery, canoeing, climbing, arts & crafts and more.

In 2017, YMCA Camp Red Feather added the Frank Blocker Youth Center, which provides indoor and open-air space to campers as well as an outdoor amphitheater. Our goal is to help nurture the potential of every child and teen we serve, and to teach them that they can achieve.
