Strength Training

The Y offers a variety of strength-training classes that combine the benefits of building strength with the motivation and positive atmosphere of a group exercise class. These classes will increase your muscle endurance, enhance your cardiovascular ability and will develop coordination and balance. Most classes are 60 minutes long and offer exercise options for a variety of fitness levels, so that you can work out at your own pace. 


Active Together®

Active Together is an innovative 60-minute workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, builds total- body strength, and enhances movement health for daily life. Body Design

A non-aerobic class designed to strengthen and condition the entire body using free weights, exercise tubing, or other equipment. SEE THE SCHEDULE.

Orientation to Group Exercise

Let us teach you the basics of participating in Group Exercise classes; what to wear, how to monitor your heart rate and come dressed ready to sample several types of class options.

Strength Train Together®

Strength Train Together maximizes your workout results with 60 minutes of impactful strength training. You’ll get stronger while improving movement when you combine traditional strength training with functional exercises using an adjustable barbell, weights and bodyweight. SEE THE SCHEDULE.


A high intensity full-body strength and conditioning program to improve agility, stability, stamina, speed and coordination through a verity of challenging workouts. Functional and safe exercises using medicine balls, barbells, kettlebells and other resistance equipment along with cardio/plyometric movements may be performed.

Strength & Tone

This strength workout is designed to condition the entire body using resistance exercises to develop muscular strength. Plate loaded bars, hand weights, balls and more may be used during the class. SEE THE SCHEDULE.
