Currituck Pickleball League

Come relish in our Winter “Dynamic Doubles” Pickleball League! Rise and brine and get ready to get your shot at this Vlasic slice of heaven. It’s jarring, but we aren’t gherkin you around—this sweet low-impact round-robin league play is going to be your bread and butter. Why register, you ask? To have some great weekly fun, competition, fellowship, healthy activity, and to support all the Currituck Family YMCA has to offer our community!

League Play 

Our pickleball league is for all skill levels for ages 14 and up. Everybody is welcome to participate from beginners to advanced players. Take this opportunity to play alongside other pickleballers you might not play with regularly.

• We'll play Round Robin, Single Pool, Doubles Dynamic Rotation (everyone plays with everyone each week).  Random draw each week to decide the order in which you will play with each partner.
• Games to 15, win by 2*
• Medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze to individuals based on number of games won
• Tie Breakers: most accumulated points for; least accumulated points against

*Adjustments may be made to the league play format based on how many players register.

Location

League play will be held indoors at the Currituck Parks & Rec gymnasium. For quickest access to the gym, park in the Senior Center parking lot and enter through the Currituck Parks & Rec doors on the right side of the building (to the right of the Senior Center entrance around the corner), where YMCA staff will meet you and check you in.

Schedule

Sundays: 1:30pm check-in and warm-up; gameplay starts at 2pm

Registration Fees

Member Discounted Rate: $55/six weeks/player
Regular Rate: $65/six weeks/player
Drop-in weekly rate: $15

Equipment

Participants must supply their own paddles. We will supply Onix Fuse Orange indoor balls for gameplay.
