Military Aviation Museum Swap

The Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach is partnering with the YMCA of South Hampton Roads to swap members during May. For the first time, YMCA members will enjoy Military Aviation Museum membership benefits and Military Aviation Museum members will enjoy YMCA membership benefits.

Y members will enjoy free admission for a family (2 adults & 2 children) to the Military Aviation Museum during May, a 10 percent discount in the Museum Store plus free admission to all Summer of Flight Flying Demonstrations (if the museum does have an event scheduled for the month, then members will receive early access plus other perks related to such an event).

• To visit the museum, simply go to the Military Aviation Museum and show the email we sent you OR a member verification form (available at any YMCA Welcome Desk) along with a photo ID and your membership card (keytag or app) at the museum entrance, and in the gift shop.

Activate Y Membership

Members of the Military Aviation Museum can visit any of the 21 YMCA of South Hampton Roads locations to enjoy a safe place to exercise with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, indoor and outdoor pools, group fitness classes, and child care while you work out.

• Military Aviation Museum members show their valid Military Aviation Museum membership card, photo ID, and complete a guest waiver form upon visiting any YMCA of South Hampton Roads location.
• You can activate your YMCA May membership online or visit your local YMCA.
• Pre-registration is recommended for lap swimming and fitness classes, but not to visit the Y. Pre-registration is not required for open swim, and hours vary by location.
• Military Aviation Museum members can also take advantage of discounted member pricing on programs such as personal training and swim lessons in October and November. 

Military Aviation Museum members who join the Y in May will pay no joining fee, a savings of up to $100.
