George Williams 2020
Though distance may keep us from one another this year for our Annual George Williams Society celebration, it is with immense gratitude that we thank you and remind you that your contribution to your YMCA helps make families stronger, communities healthier and brings neighbors home to the Y.
This year, unlike any other in our organization's recent history, the foundation that is the work the Y was built to perform was tested and bent— but never broken. And your support made it possible to carry on in the face of unprecedented challenges. What did that mean for our community? That meant that critical programs, like initiatives to address food insecurity, childcare programs when other options seemed hard to find and healthy living resources even with social distancing, were still available to the 250,000 people that the Y serves every year.
We invite you to explore our Virtual George Williams Society Celebration, and know that, because of you, we are stronger.

What your contribution means
For the Past
Your contribution connects you to the legacy of Sir George Williams, the founder of the YMCA movement. Your gift to the Y also ensures that the vision Williams had of a community made strongest by working together and taking care of our neighbors carries well into the future, helping to build a better us.
For the Present
With a year like none other, the needs of our community at times seemed ever-changing. Your contribution ensured the Y was present to meet the greatest needs, and helped the Y remain flexible to pivot when necessary. From childcare that met families at every unknown corner, to virtual wellness, you were there every step of the way.
For the Future
Thanks to countless donors to the Y's cause to strengthen community, we are working together to build future leaders, healthier individuals and more connected neighbors. See why fellow philanthropists in the George Williams Society give, and find your name on the "wall of honor"!
