Traditional Overnight Camp Ages 8–16

Experiencing time away from home, on 151 beautiful acres on the Chesapeake Bay (25 miles from the Bay Bridge Tunnel), is the perfect camping adventure for your child! The 1,200 feet of pristine shoreline make it possible for sailing, kayaking, fishing, motor boating and more. Although we are well equipped for fun, camp is also a special place where friendships, self-confidence and independence are built. Camp Silver Beach is sure to offer your child an unforgettable camping experience!

Land Activities

 

With 151 beautiful acres, we have plenty of room to offer a long list of land activities. Our highly trained staff supervises participants in all activities with safety as our top priority. Our challenge course staff are trained by certified trainers.

With direct access to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, water sports abound here at CSB.  Safety is our first priority here at Camp Silver Beach, YMCA certified lifeguards supervise campers at all times.

Have no fear, mom and dad—we have specially trained staff at  ​the ​activities at the ​Alpine Tower, sailing center, archery, riflery range, pools​, ​bay-front  ​and more​​.​ ​Also, all CSB staff are ​trained in ​ CPR, AED and ​First  ​A​id. We know the little things matter so we regularly designate time for campers to apply sunblock and encourage them to drink lots of water throughout each day. Need additional health services? The CSB Health Center is on call 24/7 with fully ​licensed nurses and doctors on hand to mend the bumps and bruises.
