Rising High School freshman, sophomores and juniors from all over the country and around the world come together for three weeks of adventure and fun, while forming their own community here at camp. TAC combines elements of leadership training, community service and personal growth.

Program Objectives

To have fun and develop friendships with other teens.
To participate in fun-filled camp and off-site adventure trips.
To participate in planning and delivering a community service project.
To develop leadership skills and abilities by planning and implementing camp programs for younger campers.
To have the opportunity to progress within the camp's activity achievement system.
To help facilitate personal growth in areas of spirit, mind and body.
To provide challenging and thought provoking opportunities and discussions.
To develop knowledge of communication and problem solving skills.
To assist one in reaching their God-given talents and abilities.

Each Teen camper joins the other 80 teens in a special village with living quarters equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, air-conditioning, and front porch decks for 'chilling-out'. Each day begins with an assembly to 'map-out' the day's events and to set goals. Teen campers work on individual activity goals and on larger group goals. Teen campers learn about each other and issues facing today's teens through guided discussions with our well-trained staff.

One of the highlights of the program is their integral participation in the planning and carrying out of a group community service project. The unique setting provided for this group of teens here at Camp Silver Beach creates enduring friendships that bring campers back year after year. There's nothing quite like it!
